November 8-10, 2019
Troop 1 is headed to the Hot Springs area in North Carolina for an early fall backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail. Hot Springs is the only town on the 2,180-mile-long AT where the trail actually goes through the middle of town so much of life there revolves around backpacking.
Georgetown Beach Trip Weekend
October 18-20, 2019
We have an exciting trip planned to Georgetown! We will take in a guided tour of the Tom Yawkey Wildlife Preserve led by the SCDNR.
Rock Climbing and Rappelling
Troop 1 will be taking to the rocks September 13-15, 2019. Rock Dimensions of Boone, NC will guide Troop 1 Scouts through the attainment of the Climbing Merit Badge over the course of the weekend through instruction along with climbing and rappelling on real rocks in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains.
Lake Summit Weekend
Troop 1 will be camping at Lake Summit the weekend of August 23-25, 2019. Scouts will have the opportunity to work on rank and merit badge advancement while spending a great day on the water.
